David R. Scott, M.D. is a physician with expertise in the evaluation and treatment of allergic, asthmatic and immunologic disorders.

Dr. Scott received his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He then completed his residency training and served as chief resident at the Oregon Health Science University in Portland, OR before obtaining subspecialty fellowship training in allergy, asthma and immunology at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, CA. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Scott is a Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. Scott has published peer reviewed articles on topics including access to care for underserved patients, patient safety and quality improvement, food allergy, drug desensitization and cellular immune response in allergy. Dr. Scott has a strong passion for working with patients to overcome health challenges and considers it a privilege to serve his home region of Western Colorado.

When not at work, Dr. Scott enjoys camping, exploring rivers, and spending time with his wife and two children.
